use Biatain® Alginate can be used in all partial to full thickness wounds with moderate to heavy exudate. Biatain® Alginate may help support control of light bleeding in superficial wounds. Biatain® Alginate may be used in combination with compression therapy. Biatain® Alginate should not be used in dry or lightly exudating wounds or to control heavy bleeding. Biatain® Alginate is indicated for pressure sores, venous leg ulcers, arterial ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, donor sites and traumatic wounds
